String players of all ages are invited to take part in A day with Sally Beamish, which runs from 10.30 am - 5.30 pm on Sunday 31 October 2010. If you would like to be involved, please download an application form and reply before 15th October 2010.

Sound Thought 2011, which runs from 3rd - 5th February 2011, will take the form of a three-day music-focused multi-arts conference/festival. This event will platform the best in Glasgow University post-graduate music composition and research, alongside research in music and sound from other arts institutions/organisations, and a programme of interdisciplinary performance work by emergent artists working in related creative fields.
The aim of the event is to provide a new high-profile platform for emergent music/sound composition, performance and research in Scotland, and to act as a catalyst for cross-collaboration and dialogue between disciplines on the subject of music and sonic research.
